Getting Started with the County EHR System

This guide provides basic instructions for using the Electronic Health Record system.

Logging In

  1. Open the EHR application from your desktop
  2. Enter your username (typically your employee ID)
  3. Enter your password (case-sensitive)
  4. If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts

Patient Registration

  1. Click "Patient Registration" in the main menu
  2. Search for existing patients using ID number or name
  3. If patient is not found, click "New Patient" to create a record
  4. Fill in all required fields marked with an asterisk (*)
  5. Click "Save" when complete

Entering Patient Notes

  1. Open the patient's record
  2. Click "New Note" in the Clinical Notes section
  3. Select the appropriate template for your note type
  4. Complete all required fields
  5. Click "Save" to record the note
