Getting Started with the County EHR System
This guide provides basic instructions for using the Electronic Health Record system.
Logging In
- Open the EHR application from your desktop
- Enter your username (typically your employee ID)
- Enter your password (case-sensitive)
- If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts
Patient Registration
- Click "Patient Registration" in the main menu
- Search for existing patients using ID number or name
- If patient is not found, click "New Patient" to create a record
- Fill in all required fields marked with an asterisk (*)
- Click "Save" when complete
Entering Patient Notes
- Open the patient's record
- Click "New Note" in the Clinical Notes section
- Select the appropriate template for your note type
- Complete all required fields
- Click "Save" to record the note
