Troubleshooting Microsoft Office Issues

Office Applications Won't Open

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Try running Office as administrator (right-click > Run as administrator)
  3. Check for Windows updates and install any available Office updates
  4. Repair Office installation through Control Panel

Documents Not Saving

  1. Check your disk space (you need at least 100MB free)
  2. Try saving to a different location
  3. Use Save As and select a different file format
  4. Enable AutoRecover in Office settings

Excel Formulas Not Working

  1. Check if the cell format is set to "Text" instead of "General" or "Number"
  2. Ensure formulas begin with = sign
  3. Verify cell references are correct
  4. Check if Calculation is set to Manual (Formula tab > Calculation Options)
