Internet Connection Troubleshooting Guide

Follow these steps when your facility is experiencing internet connectivity issues.

Basic Troubleshooting

  1. Check if other computers can access the internet
  2. Verify if the network cable is connected properly (if using wired connection)
  3. Check if WiFi is enabled and connected to the correct network (if using wireless)
  4. Restart your computer

Router Troubleshooting

  1. Locate your facility's router (usually in the server room or admin office)
  2. Check if the power and internet lights are on
  3. Power cycle the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in
  4. Wait 2-3 minutes for the router to fully restart
